Since 1899  STATE BANK AND TRUST COMPANY has taken a progressive approach to providing Dillon, Beaverhead County and Southwestern Montana with Traditional banking services.  We are a locally owned, independent bank that has worked with the community through the years to weather natural and economic cycles.

We are proud of our history.  When six colorful pioneers landed in Dillon and merged to form State Bank in 1899, they brought their innovative spirit and sense of community with them.  We have never lost sight of these qualities.  In fact, we have customers who have left Dillon but not State Bank.

At State Bank we take our community involvement seriously, which means more then being a good lender to Dillon’s and Southwestern Montana’s increasingly diverse borrowers and community builders.  We believe in education and health care, and our support of our schools and hospital is an important part of our role in the community.
