Online Banking Security
State Bank & Trust Company is committed to keeping your information private and secure. However, you can play an important role in helping us maintain this security by following these simple guidelines:
1) Never give your PIN Number to anyone. The Bank’s staff will never ask for your PIN number.
2) Do not store your PIN number or other sensitive data on your computer.
3) Log out of “INTERNET BANKING” when you are finished using it. State Bank will log you off automatically after ten minutes of inactivity.
If you feel your PIN number has been compromised, let us know immediately by calling 1-800-683-2978 or 406-683-2393. Do not send us this information via e-mail.
State Bank & Trust Company uses multiple levels of security for online banking, starting with the use of a unique user ID and password assigned to each customer. Once connected to our Internet Banking services, your browser uses a 128-bit encryption (the highest level available) to make information entered unreadable during communication with our computers. The systems at our end are protected by state of the art firewalls and other security measures which act as a virtual information vault for all information and transactions you enter.
